About the event
The Leadership Development Certificate Program is a free, 5-week online experience designed to equip full-time college students enrolled at universities and colleges in the Rio Grande Valley with practical, real-world leadership skills. While many students develop strong academic and technical knowledge, leadership, communication, and teamwork are often skills learned later in the workplace. This program is designed to close that gap early.
Through weekly live sessions, participants will learn how to communicate with confidence, lead themselves and others effectively, build strong relationships, and influence in a professional environment. The curriculum is grounded in proven leadership principles from Maxwell Leadership and incorporates elements from The Five Behaviors® and the Maxwell DISC Method.
