About the event
The Leadership Development Certificate Program is a free, 5-week online experience exclusively for full-time college students currently enrolled at a university or college located in the Rio Grande Valley, designed to equip participants with practical, real-world leadership skills. While many students develop strong academic and technical knowledge, leadership, communication, and teamwork are often skills learned later in the workplace. This program is designed to close that gap early.
Through weekly live sessions, participants will learn how to communicate with confidence, lead themselves and others effectively, build strong relationships, and influence in a professional environment. The curriculum is grounded in proven leadership principles from Maxwell Leadership and incorporates elements from The Five Behaviors® and the Maxwell DISC Method.
